Our Saturday

Last weekend was the last full weekend that Ryan and I are going to spend in Albuquerque (unless we go up there on vacation).  By the time that I'm back from my parents...Roo should (hopefully) be done with training. So we took advantage and tried to do as much as we could.  We started out the morning by waking up early and going to a farmers market.  We enjoyed some homemade tamales, and Ryan liked walking in the grass...and heading straight for the street.  I have no idea why he does this EVERY time.

After the market we went to a car show and chili cook-off at one of the casinos in town.  You know that song that goes "Beans, beans, the magical fruit?"  Ya, it's true.  We had a good time, but it would have been funner if it's hadn't been about a thousand degrees outside.

nothing like a Slurpee to help cool you down

A truck that reminded Roo of the one he used to have.  In his former life, before a wife.  Or Ryan.  Or a mortgage payment.

Just thought this was AWESOME

We tried keeping Ryan cool by putting water on his head.  I think he was pretty over it.

The casino had an arcade for kids...so we went to cool down.  Roo won us 100 tickets...enough for a pack of candy

Roo trying to scare Ryan into eating.  Ryan trying to tell Roo he needs to freshen his breath
