It has been a rather stressful week (trying to a sell a house is no fun)--but I'm extremely thankful for parents who call me often to check up on me and chocolate.  Sometimes those are all that a girl needs.  Even though it's been rough I'm extremely grateful for two healthy kids and an amazing husband--plus the fact that we're moving to Florida soon helps keep me motivated.  Here are some pictures from the week.

I have to say that I am extremely proud that Ty is sleeping in his own bed.  At my parents I shared a twin bed with him which was not very fun.  It was a rough transition but I'm sure that we're both sleeping better now.  He's stuffy right now so poor thing has to sleep with his mouth open.

 The cutest leprechaun ever.

I just think he's so cute when he's sleeping!

Ryan loves holding Ty--it doesn't last too long though because he's so wiggly.

 Chewing on some vegetable straws.

 Ryan decorating some cookies

Being silly with my headband.  He picked out this Captain America shirt by himself.  I know parents always say to pick your battles and I've learned that what he wears isn't one that I want to fight.  Now before I buy something I ask him if he'll wear it and if he says "no" then I don't buy it, because it's not going to happen.

Ty likes carrots!  Next time I'll feed him in his high chair as opposed to the exersaucer.

Penguin exhibit

I know it's been a long time since I've posted!  I get overwhelmed when I think of all the catching up I have to do so I decided I'd just start with today and go from there.  Today some friends had a birthday party for their daughter at the Science Spectrum in Lubbock.  They had an exhibit on penguins which Ryan loved!

Checking out the cute little chicks.

Poor Ty--I was wearing him but sadly there wasn't a cut out for him

I just have to says I think that's pretty crazy that penguins could even be that tall!

He wanted to show the size of the little penguin

There were a bunch of neat exhibits that Ryan enjoyed checking out at the museum--we'll definitely have to visit it again some time.

And so Ty doesn't feel left out, here's a video of him attempting to crawl:
