phone dump

Since I have a free minute I figure that I might as well just post a ton of pictures now--free time is hard to come by around here!

A couple of weeks ago we took family pictures by the Osprey.  Jim and Aki were in town and were able to see the plane up close...a McLay's dream!

Ryan wearing his new sweatshirt from Nana and a hat that we made him try on--we ended up buying it because I think he looks adorable!  He's not a fan of hats so we'll see how much use it actually gets.

Ty is getting so big!  I can't believe that he'll be two months tomorrow!

Ryan is the best big brother ever!  He was the one who decided to share his blanket with Ty, which if you know him and his blanket--that's kind-of a big deal.  He doesn't even share it with me.

I don't see how that comfortable.

Just watching a little Monday night football.

The things we do to our kids!

Looking at these pictures just makes my heart melt--I'm probably biased but I think Ty is adorable!  Roo is so good at getting him to smile--he definitely loves his daddy.

Since Ryan is at school today I figured I might as well try and do something productive (yesterday I just slept with Ty the whole time).  Here are some old and new pictures...I was just going to do a post with our Halloween costumes but I figured the Grandparents wouldn't be very happy without at least one picture of the boys.

I'm not sure if I posted this or not already, but this was from our very first outing as a family.

Saturday Roo's squadron had a Halloween party.  I'm not one for dressing up but we figured that everyone would go all out (which they did) so I'm really glad that I did.  Roo was great and pretty much made my costume for me and he borrowed his from a friend.  Hopefully my Mom won't know what he is and just think that he's funny looking.

My boys.  I just have to say that Ryan is such a great big brother!  He likes it when Ty watches him play, and except for the time that I found him putting bread in his mouth he doesn't really do anything too scary to him.  Yet.

Pumpkin Patch part 2

While Roo's parents were here we all went to the Pumpkin Patch--we wanted to show them country life.  We had a fun time and Ty slept thru the whole thing which made it easier on me.

Ryan is so much bigger than last year!

Ty sleeping thru all of the fun.

Papa and Ryan on the train.  Ryan wanted to go by himself but he agreed to let Papa go if he sat behind him.

Sorry I'm so slow at updating the blog--hopefully I'll get in a routine and do a better job!

Ryan being such a good boy at church.  Thankfully there are a lot of ladies at church who like to hold babies so if I ever want to give my arms a break I'm sure I'll get one.

Roo's parents came done last week for a couple of days--and I don't think I woke up before 10 the whole time.  Thanks so much for letting me catch up on some sleep.  We even left Ty alone with Papa when the rest of us went to Goodwill--and everyone survived!

Nana spoiled everyone by cooking a full breakfast everyday.

We had the exact picture with Ryan but I think it was on Roo's laptop when it crashed.

Pumpkin Patch

A couple weekends ago we went to a pumpkin patch that is here in town.  It was free entrance for Military (and I do LOVE free) so we splurged on some rides with the kids...Ryan really enjoyed it!

Ryan riding the cow train with his bff.

Looking at pumpkins.  Ryan is spoiled and didn't want to walk.

The kids are finally to the age where they can ride the rides by themselves...YAY!!

Family pictures (minus Ty)

A completely unrelated picture--but a super cute hat that someone in Roo's squadron made for Tyler.
