Fun times this week

Last week we had a great week.  Roo was able to take all week off of work which has been so nice!  I'm going to be so sad Monday when he has to go back to work. We stayed around the local area since both boys are in school but we were still able to have a lot of fun.

Twice after we dropped the kids off at school we went out for breakfast.

One night we went to some outlets.   Of course Ty doesn't want to be in the stroller until Ryan does--so they have to share.

We have some of the most beautiful sunsets out here!

I just wanted photographic evidence that sometimes they do get along.

We have been fortunate lately to be doing a lot of things as a family.  Roo is great and even after a long day at work he loves spending time with the kids and doing fun things with them...no wonder they run to the door when he walks in.  They sure love their Daddy!

A fish Ryan caught.  He even bought the bait with his own money.  I've been paying him an "allowance" to do certain things around the house.  He's already so much better with money than I was...when we go to a store and he looks at a toy 9 times out of 10 he says that he's going to save his money.  I'm sure I would have spent all of my money on candy by now.

Ty's second day of school.  He's only gone to 3 days so far and cried 2/3--thankfully he stops a few minutes after.

He's so adorable!

A few weeks ago I took the kids for their new favorite treat--Dippin Dots.  On the way home we stopped by a boardwalk where they happened to be having a parade.  I regretted it the next day because the kids were cranky from being so late...but they had a fun time so I guess it was worth it.

Waiting for the parade to start.  I got told the wrong time so we waited for about an hour...boo!

Sunset

A few weeks ago we went with some friends to watch the sunset--and it was beautiful!  We ended the night watching some fireworks.  We also ate Chipotle for dinner...so it was pretty much the perfect day.

The kids LOVE the pool!  We had some issues with the plumbing at our house and the topic came up to move and we both decided that if we did (which we aren't) we'd have to have a pool.  We've gotten so spoiled in this year by having one!

A few weeks ago Ryan started Kindergarten--I can't believe how fast time flies!  He's doing really good though one day he said he was sad because he ate lunch by himself, which broke my heart!  I ate lunch with him the next day and he asked me to come back again.  I might do it once a week.

Waiting to pick brother up from school.  They have a car drop off and pick up line but he says he wants me to walk him to class.  Even though is he super far from where I can park I still do because I know one day he won't want to be seen with me.

Last week I met up with a friend at the Gulfarium in town.  Ryan was kind of upset that I went without him...the struggled of being the oldest I guess.
