Denver

We met in Roo in Denver to spend a few days there before heading back to Clovis.  Ryan was so happy to have daddy back!  We did a lot of fun things as a family (and thanks to Jim and Aki, Roo and I were able to catch up on movies and even spend a night away).

One day we took Ryan to the zoo.  It ended up being free...which was even better because he's into zoos, but not a full admissions worth.
So excited!

Roo making Ryan have fun.  Obviously it wasn't working.

The zoo had a train that kids could ride.  I think Ryan thought that the railroad crossing was the coolest part of the zoo.

The train cost $3 and the lady said it ran for about 2 minutes....so we just watched it go by.

Ryan still thought it was pretty cool though.

Another day we took Ryan to a train museum.  If you know anything about Ryan, you know that he LOVED it.  I don't say much about the pictures because they're all trains and pretty self explanatory.  Sorry.

I was obviously so excited for the train ride to start.

So was Ryan until they asked us to close the window.  Then he had a full blown tantrum.  It was bad.

Sunday we attempted to go to a Broncos game.  I thought it'd be easy to go scalp some tickets--which it would have been if we were rich.   The cheapest tickets we could find were for $150 each.  Plus Roo wouldn't go unless we sat together.  He's weird like that.  I'm serious.  He's always thought we've needed to sit together on airplanes.  Strange.  Anyways...we ended up just watching the game at home.  **PS--If some one from the Broncos organization comes across this and would like to donate tickets to show your support for the military--we'll be up there in time for the game on the 23rd.**
