Gulfarium

Last week we took advantage of Roo having some time off and Ryan having Spring break and went to the Gulfarium.  I'd been a few times but it was Roos' first time.  It doesn't compare to Atlanta...but it was fun to go as a family!

New Orleans Aquarium

Ryan has Spring Break this week so I decided to take a quick trip to New Orleans.  I'm not sure that I'll do a trip like that again by myself any time soon--but hopefully it's something that they'll remember.  The day we got there it was raining.  All.  Day.  We decided to save the zoo for the next day and went to the Aquarium.  Both kids really enjoyed it.  After that I bought tickets for the Big Bus Tour but because of the rain we decided to save that for the next day also.  We ended up just going to Target and the mall...which I realize is all my kids need to be happy.

 

Now that Roo is gone I'll try to do a better job at updating this so he can see how we're doing.  Here are just some things we did before he left.

Ty went in to have a small procedure done.   Thankfully everything went well.

Just waking up.  I'm glad I was able to be of some comfort to him.

I've said it before, but Ryan really is the best big brother ever!  Though I have had to tell him a few times to not tell Ty to do things that he knows will get him in trouble.  Besides that he's great! 

I am just amazed that he puts on masks...he's definitely one picky 4 year old!

I love when they wear hats!  Normally it only lasts a few minutes though. 

I found a costume I bought when tyler was just 2 months.   It would have been great if I would have found it last Halloween--but sadly it was stashed away in a closet.  He wasn't too impressed.

Last weekend I took the boys to some yard sales and found these light sabers for $1 each.  Best deal ever!

Before Roo left we were and be to spend a few days of family time together which was great.   Both boys enjoy bike riding and being outside.

Yoga

Sorry it's been so long since I updated this!  I was busy with school (but finished my classes last week--hooray!).  Roo has been flying a lot getting ready for an upcoming trip and the boys have been enjoying the Florida sun.  I promise I'll do a better job!  Here are just some random pictures from these past few weeks.

When my parents were visiting my Mom taught the kids some yoga.

I am glad there are moments when they get along!  Generally it's when they both have the exact same thing.  I'm learning I need to buy things in pairs.
