The other night we went out for dinner and found a place that had an open mic. Ryan loved the music and this was his interpretive dance.

Buddy
While I was in Washington my parents helped me potty train Ryan. I hate to brag but it was definitely easier than I thought it would be...but I think him being almost 3 helped. One day when my Mom was driving with Ryan he had to pee so she pulled over and had him go on a bush...here he is talking about how it is like their dog does.

Hair cut
When we got back to New Mexico we decided to cut Ryan's hair. My Mom was strongly against it and I explained to her that Ryan gets so sweaty. She said to put his hair in a pony tail. Yeah...that wasn't going to happen. Roo asked me to look up some hair cutting places for kids and I told him that I didn't want any part of it so that I could claim deniability when I told my Mom. I thought that Ryan would have a melt down since the last time we took him to get a hair cut it didn't go so well, so we bribed him with a trip to Target to get a new train. Of course he did great and I probably could have bribed him with a piece of gum. Definitely would have been much cheaper.
Such a big boy!
No tears
He was super excited to get a sucker afterwards.
I think it looks good!

Seattle
Sorry it's been such a long time since I updated the blog! I figured that since we were at my parents house, and they are the majority of readers, people wouldn't mind. We had a fun time visiting them and we look forward to the next time! The timing worked out really well because Roo was in the area for work and on his days off we were able to hang out. One day the weather was beautiful and we were able to check out Seattle...it was so much fun!
Ryan was excited to get to hang out with Daddy!
We stopped near Pike's Market to get some lunch and people watch at the park. There are definitely a lot of interesting people to watch there.
Such a cute family if I may say so myself.
We took Ryan on the Duck tour...it was a ton of fun! He was kind-of tired so I don't think he fully appreciated it.
He definitely woke up some when we went into the water, he really enjoyed that part.
Lovely view of Seattle. We really lucked out having such beautiful weather!
