Our first (and quite possibly last) Pinterest proejct

A few months ago we took some family pictures and I ran across a blog about making cute picture frames for cheap.  I printed out some prints at Staples...the biggest one is probably 4 feet by 3 feet and the other one is probably half that size...for a grand total of $10.  $5 of that was for a rush fee to pick it up the next day.  We went to Lowes and bought some wood for about $25 and I put Roo to work.
He picked out this lovely red color to paint it.

Installing the hardware to hang it

The finished product.  I have to admit that I don't love it.  You can still see the spray adhesive on the sides, the wood was a bit warped so it doesn't lay flat,...and we put a big hole in the wall trying to hang it up.  One of my friends asked, "You're not going to leave that there are you?".  So...yeah.

This one didn't turn out exactly how we wanted either.  I put some Modge Podge on top of it and immediately it started bubbling.  You can't tell from this picture...but up close it looks like we have WAY more wrinkles and we really do.
